Scripture Reference: Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)
But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31 speaks to the relief that comes when you trust God with your stuff. There is a great freedom and release that occurs in the life of a Believer when we are honest with the Lord regarding what is going on inside of us. God doesn’t want performance. He just wants you.
God wants you to know that He is here for you. Your Heavenly Father loves you and there is no need to hide. You don’t have to put on a happy face to meet with Him. God knows who you are. He knows where you are and all that is going on in your life. God loves you for who you are and that will never change.
There is a special kind of restoration that comes when you call on the name of Jesus. The soothing and comforting presence of the Holy Spirit fills the room. There is a sweet peace and relief that will wash over you as every concern is poured out to the Lord.
The presence of the Lord provides a safe place where you can talk freely about whatever is on your mind. In confidence, you can express every issue that is on your heart. Here you can unload the weights of every burden thereby taking the pressure off of your shoulders and putting it on the Lord’s shoulders.
There is a peace and comfort your Heavenly Father longs to share with you. To receive it all you have to do is open your heart and talk with Him. Honestly tell the Lord how you are doing. Ask for what you need. Or if you don’t know what to say or how to process what you are feeling just ask Him for help. The Lord knows what you need in order to have peace, restoration, time to breathe, renewal, and a game plan. He is waiting to hear from you.
Take a moment. Get still. Say, “Lord, I need you.” Then receive the refresh that only the Lord can provide.
Prayer: Lord help me to seek you in all things. Remind me that my help comes from You. I find the release and relief I need in Your presence. Overwhelm me with Your love and take control of every situation. Thank you for being my peace, calming my heart, and clearing my mind. Thank you for being the answer to every question and situation in my life. I receive your response, strength, and help in the name of Jesus. Amen.
