Have you really tapped into God’s Word to allow its life, power, sharpness, ability to penetrate, divide, discern, correct, uncover your condition, and set you free (Hebrews 4:12)?
Are you free? Have you confessed with your mouth the Lord, Jesus Christ and believed in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead? For with the heart men believe unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10). If you believe, make sure you’re free. Free from infirmities, bondage, jealousy, perverseness and fear. You know if you’re still holding on to that proud look, a lying tongue, or hands that shed innocent blood. You know if your heart devises wicked plans or if your feet are swift in running to evil. You know if you’re a false witness who speaks lies or one who sows discord among the brethren (Proverbs 6:17-19). Evil spirits are heavy. Get free! Weight will slow one down and corrupt your thoughts. Get free, for the Kingdom of God is at hand. Everything that opposes God’s word, God’s will and God’s way of doing things is of the enemy and the enemy comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (John 10:10).
Just in case you didn’t know, the life of a believer is not one of ease but a constant spiritual battle. But guess what, we win. How? By faith. For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). When the enemy comes in like a flood, exercise your faith (Isaiah 59:19). When bills are due and money is few, exercise your faith. When our children, who were trained up in the way they should go, are now going the wrong way, exercise your faith. When we stand on God’s word our faith increases. So speak what thus says the Lord because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).
Get free! Free people are able to walk boldly in the authority and power of God, exercising His Word, to possess His kingdom – and we do that by faith. Faith releases the power of our weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).
So my sister, my brother, put on the whole armor of God, that you will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We must remember that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Get free! Take unto you the armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins gird about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints (Ephesians 6:13-18).
Get fee! He whom the Son has set free is free indeed (John 8:36). When we were children, we spoke as a children, we understood as children, we thought as a children; but when we become mature, we put away childish things (1 Corinthians 13:11). Get free. God is calling for His people to be free and to impact His Kingdom, to be heard, to allow Him to be seen through you, to rule, and to reign, whereby we can say, it’s no longer I, but Christ that lives inside of me. Get free and stay free!
Prayer: Father, in the matchless Name of Jesus Christ, thank You for the benefits you’ve given me through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus the Christ. I decree and declare today that I am free in Christ Jesus and that my loins are girded up in the Word of God. I take my rightful place in the Body of Christ to do Your Kingdom work. I am FREE! In Jesus’ Name. Amen
